Extension Courses on Saturday
The Extension Courses of ECBS provides a systematic theological education for those who are engaged in Ministry or evangelism without having any proper theological education, due to time, finance etc..
Minimum Requirement for Admission: 10th, 12th pass or equivalent. Special consideration may be given for missionary candidates with proven ministry experience.
Course Requirements: The three year and two year courses offer 36 and 24 subjects respectively. Subjects are drawn from disciplines such as Biblical, Theology, Church History, Mission and Religion.
Medium of Instruction: English. But there will be provision for writing the examinations in regional language (s).
Practical Ministry Requirements: The extension program is mainly for those who are involved in Ministry
Mode of Training: As modules, Students will be provided study materials and printed notes.
In addition to the study materials, Students will be asked to read books related to each subject recommended by the Faculty. The student is expected to write the assignments which are based on the study materials and submit them on or before the due date. Student must attend the 85% of contact classes every Saturday conducted at the College or suggested study centers. Students who fail to attend the contact classes will not be permitted to write the exams of that semester.
Ebenezer College of Biblical Studies will be the main centre for studies and examinations. New and existing study centers will be opened as demand arises. Those who successfully complete the courses will be given certificates at the main Graduation service of the Ebenezer College of Biblical Studies.
